Step 1 - Unplug the top of the super-high resolution driver console from your wall socket.  Remove its cover.  There are two small phillips head screws on the top and three at the top rear.  Stand at the front of the console, and look inside.  Locate the wire marked with the red dot.  It is located just behind the white power plug to the right of the large, round transformer.   Remove both ends of the wire from their connections.  If you can't remove the wire from the push-type connector, cut it and put a wire nut on the exposed end.

Step 2 - The other end of the wire you just removed was connected to an input terminal on one of the two relays shown above.  After removing the spade connector, tighten the terminal screw back down.  Next, cut a piece of 14 guage wire about 18" long.  Strip both ends back about 3/8".  Crimp a new spade connector on one end, and install it on the right hand relay (input side) as marked by the red dot above.

Step 3 - Connect the other end of the 18" long wire to a terminal strip post marked +5Vdc.  It should be near the bottom of the strip to the immediate right of the cooling fan.  It is usually the second from the bottom or the bottom terminal post.  Use a thin screwdriver, and take care not to damage the circuit board below it.  Replace the cover of the console.  You have now reduced the amount of current supplied to the relay that triggers the plasma on/off functions, preventing it from tripping from too high an ambient voltage.
