The Torchmate CAD Module is totally unique in the world of CNC shape
cutting. There literally is no other program with comparable
features in existence for less than several thousand dollars.
These features include full automatic nesting of parts, automatic kerf
compensation, automatic insertion of lead-ins and lead-outs, automatic
control of torch travel direction, full control over cutting sequence,
inch and metric operation, and much more.
Because the Torchmate CAD Module is more powerful and functional than anything
supplied with competing machines, we provide
an on-line tutorial to assist customers in familiarizing themselves
with its features and their use. A 500 page hard copy manual comes with the
program, but this guide makes it generally unnecessary to refer to it.
We will be developing a comparable tutorial for our Torchmate driver
software module, that uses files created by the CAD Module to actually
run the machine.
We wanted this guide to serve an additional purpose, as well. We
are making it available to those who are considering a Torchmate
system, and want to know what the CAD Module has to offer them.
It may provide more detail than is necessary for that purpose, but
anyone taking the time to read each page in the sequence they are
presented will have an excellent grasp of the program's features.
