Additional Information on Optional Torchmate CAD Module
Here are just a couple of additional examples of what our CAD module can do for you:

The image at right shows shows the manner in which the order, or sequence of cutting can be set.

A pull-down menu tool lets you simply draw a line from one shape to the next in the order you want the shapes cut.

Here, the small holes were set to be cut first, then the large center hole, and the outside square last.

The creation of the tool path does many things quickly and automatically.  You can make the following settings in advance:
You can specify the length and angle for the lead-ins and lead-outs.  They can be created as straight lines or curves.
You can specify the amount of kerf allowance for inside and outside shapes.
You can control the direction of torch travel for inside and outside shapes.  You always get the cleanest cuts if the torch goes clockwise for outside shapes and counter-clockwise for inside shapes.

The program is "smart" enough to automatically cut the inside shapes first, and place the kerf compensation and lead-ins/outs on the inside of inside shapes and on the outside of outside shapes.   You can specify the order in which you wish the shapes cut, if you prefer, as shown in the top photo.

The Torchmate CAD Module can import and process a wide variety of file formats.  These include but are not limited to the following:

Adobe Illustrator
CorelDraw (cmx)
DesignCad (dc2 & dcx)
GraphicCad (dwg)
AutoCad (dxf)
Windows bitmap (bmp)
JPEG bitmaps (jpg)
TIFF files (tif)
WordPerfect graphics files (wpg)
HPGL files (plt)
plus many more
