To draw the shape on the preceeding page, select the arc edit tool from the
fly-out menu. The tool bar shown to the right will appear. From
left to right, the icons are: arc edit, node edit, and segment edit.
The three small data entry windows shown at the top will also appear.
From left to right, the left two windows are for: enter initial X axis
point (in inches for this example) and enter initial Y axis point.
Each successive set of coordinates entered results in a line being drawn to
that point from the last point. If a line is to be an arc, enter the bulge or radius of arc
in the third window. We will enter
values in the three boxes to create the lines and arcs that make up the
shape.
