Select Arrange/Nesting from the pull-down menu bar.
The Nesting Dialog Box will open, as shown at the top of this page. It
is possible to specify the distance between the nested parts, the degrees of
rotation permitted, the distance between the nested parts and the edge of
the material, and more.
Click on the OK button, and the program will nest the parts into the
smallest possible pattern. A fairly powerful computer is needed to do
this efficiently, as their is a lot of number crunching to be done.
However, as your CAD Module will be on the office computer, rather than the
shop computer, this should not be a problem. |
