While our Torchmate II and
Torchmate III machines and kits are driven from both sides, the Standard
Torchmate is not. This kit lets Standard Torchmate owners fabricate
a drive shaft from 3/4" cold roll round bar they purchase locally. Included are the necessary additional gear rack, bracket and necessary hardware. Driving the unit from both sides eliminates the wobble on the far end of the gantry that is possible when making sudden changes in direction at high speeds. |
