The fact is that any CNC shape cutting machine you buy, other than one that is dealer installed,  is actually a kit that you have to assemble from a box.  We just happen to be "up front" enough to call it that.
 
Our kit probably takes no longer to complete than a light duty machine that you have to bolt together from parts that come in a box.  Because you purchase the steel for the frame and rails locally, it's construction is equivalent to machines costing $40,000 or more.
 
Besides bolting the gantry together, little remains to be done except cutting locally purchased steel tubing to length and welding it into a framework, and some minor drilling, tapping, and tack welding tasks.  Click here for an overview of the kit completion steps.
The rail system is a simple structure you fabricate from locally purchased steel tubing and flat bar to save shipping dollars.
 
The instructions provided with your kit include a digital 3-D model of the gantry & rail system that you can rotate and zoom in to see the finest details.  You will need SolidWorks viewer to access the model.  It can be downloaded free at:
