Plasma Cutters

INTRODUCTION:

Many plasma cutters are available with one of two different kinds of torches. The most familiar style is a manual torch, with approximately a 70 degree angle built into its head. This permits it to be easily held in one's hand.

The other style torch is designed for use on a cutting machine. Called a machine torch, it is a vertical, barrel shaped torch, with a gear rack built into its side to facilitate raising and lowering it. Machine torches cost more than manual torches, but are necessary for satisfactory machine cutting. Both types of torches are pictured below:

In the unlikely event that your plasma cutter requires service, you no longer have to drive it perhaps 50 miles to your local Hypertherm dealer, leave it, and then drive back to pick it up.

Keep the original shipping container. If your unit requires service, call our authorized Hypertherm service center to arrange a UPS pickup. We will promptly service the machine and return it. You don't have to leave your facility, and we pay all service-related shipping charges for your first warranty repair (up to one year).
