With the introduction of consumer-priced plasma cutters some 10 years ago, the stage was set for CNC plasma cutters to emerge. Today, a plasma-cut shape from steel plate need not cost significantly more in time or money than the same contour in posterboard or even on paper. Automated plasma cutters can produce a shape in steel almost as quickly as you can conceive it. Better still, our cnc shape burning machines can scale any profile up or down in increments of less than a thousandth of an inch in a second. You can cut a circle of virtually any diameter within the capacity of the machine after creating a single circle file. The same thing goes for any shape.

Are you tired of drilling, punching, or milling holes and slots? CNC plasma cutters can cut holes down to 1/4" in 2 seconds each. Put your milling machine end mills away, and occasionally clean the cobwebs off your drill press or ironworker. Milling machines and drill presses and band saws rely upon the mechanical wearing away of metal-one thin layer at a time.
